Get started on the Internet
in 4 easy steps
STEP 1.
Insert the CD-ROM into your computer, sit back and enjoy the presentation.

STEP 2. Click the MAIN MENU button.

STEP 3. Click the JOIN NOW button when
you are ready to connect. Choose NEW ACCOUNT and you'll be lead step-by-step through
software installation and selection of your OptusNet username and password.

STEP 4. Double click on the INTERNET EXPLORER
icon and start surfing. |
How to top-up your PrePaid
account
To top-up your
OptusNet PrePaid account means to add new time to your available pool of hours. After
purchasing a Recharge Kit to obtain an unused PrePaid Access Card, you can top-up a number
of ways:
If your account still has hours left on it:
If you've run out of hours:
PC Users:
Double-click the Optus icon on your desktop labelled "Top-up or Cheque Balance
OptusNet PrePaid Acct". If you do not have the above icon, run the CD-ROM and click
the TOP-UP button from the main menu.

MAC Users: Please
call 1300 301 325 (press option 2) o our Customer Service can top-up your account for you.
Remember, after you run out of
PrePaid hours, you must top-up within 90 days. After this time your account (including
your email address and website) will be deleted. |
Bonus Hours
Top-up online before your
hours expire and get 5 bonus hours.
(These hours will be available for use during the next
usage period.)

Return 10 used PrePaid access cards/recharge vouchers to us and receive 60 bonus hours.*
*You must have an active account to receive these bonus hours.
Bonus hours can be used when your existing credits expire, and are valid then for 45 days. |
